From the Photographer… A mix of classic florals such as hydrangea, roses and tulips with a palette of white, beige and gold were used for this shoot. The Bride wore a strapless Lea- Ann Belter Gown, paired with a lace top (for part of the shoot) and a long veil… the Groom wore classic black. Her makeup was finished with a classic red lip… can’t ever go wrong with a nice red lip 😉 One of our favorite moments was when we photographed the couple dancing (this is a real couple by the way). I had casually asked them what their real “first dance” song was so that when they started dancing we could surprise them with THEIR song. It was a really sweet moment and I loved capturing their real emotions. After the sweetness, we also had some fun watching them “Whip” and “Nay Nay”. We included details of classic invitations designed by the venue as well as the bride’s real wedding ring. Though we focused mostly on soft lighting and the twinkling bistro lights that cover the ceiling of the venue’s main open space, we also played with some full sun midday window light to create extra drama for a few of the bridal shots.
