For this styled shoot, we created a vision of a cozy winter wedding, capturing the beauty of a season when even though the world is cold, love keeps people warm. To evoke this magical atmosphere, we selected the Pierce House, an authentic colonial home with a rich history in the lovely town of Lincoln, Massachusetts.
We decided to go with a silver and violet color scheme, which featured in many details such as stationery, silk robes, cake-pops, the wedding cake and, of course, lighting and flowers. Fresh greenery and white accents added a brightness to the decor, while a few black tones gave the space a bit of a modern vibe. The cake was a reflection of a Venetian Carnival, adorned with white, black and purple flourishes and surrounded by traditional Venetian masks. Our models, Yana & Austin, were a real couple who enjoyed learning about the wedding routine. We began with the “getting ready” and“first look” photos, and finished the shoot with photos of a romantic, candlelit dinner.
