Create a Wonderful Wedding Week
The countdown is on! When you’re a week out from your wedding, you may feel overwhelmed with last-minute details, and all that pressure can take away from your big day. Instead of a week of worry, plan special pre-wedding events to get the celebration started.
Saturday: 7 days to go
Get outside. It’s tempting to go straight into planning mode, but like studying for a big test, your brain needs a break. Bring along your other half and take a long walk, go for a bike ride, or do something else in the great outdoors to de-stress.
Sunday: 6 days to go
Sunday fun day! Get together with friends and do something special. Head to brunch, go on a winery or brewery tour, or treat yourself with a honeymoon shopping trip.
Monday: 5 days to go
Give yourself some #MondayMotivation and create a to-do list for the next few days. Every item you cross off will help you feel more accomplished.
Tuesday: 4 days to go
Have lunch with your A-team. With four days to go, you know what issues may pop up on the big day. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your bridal party, friends, or family to make sure the wedding goes smoothly.
Wednesday: 3 days to go
Plan an intimate dinner with your spouse-to-be. The next few days are going to be crazy, so enjoy a quiet night at home or a special dinner out, just the two of you.
Thursday: 2 days to go
See if a friend or family member wants to host a welcome cocktail hour. Guests will start arriving from out of town, and a welcome party is a great way to thank them for traveling. Just be sure you aren’t the host—no need for added responsibilities!
Friday: 1 day to go
It’s rehearsal dinner time. Allow yourself to relax and spend time with your closest friends and family.
Saturday: Wedding Day
Enjoy your day!
