Chelsea and Drew are a carefree and easygoing couple who try not to take life too seriously. They like to try new things together and make new traditions instead of adhering to old ones. Their yearly OC fair date is commemorated by a film strip each time, including the year Drew got to one knee and proposed right there in the booth! This gallery showcases the sweet and silly dynamic that embodies Chelsea and Drew.
We met in college while taking Spanish. I got her attention by showing up late to class, almost every day, and begging her to tell me what I missed.
We don’t take each other too seriously. We always make sure that we communicate and express how we feel so everything is on the table. We are sorta foodies but I’m (Chelsea) a little more cautious whereas Drew just dives in and pushes me into trying new foods too. We both love spending time with our fur baby Charlie.
Chelsea: I knew he was the one when I took him to meet my family for fourth of July the first year we were dating and it was as if he had always been part of my life and family. He just fit in… it’s like he competed us.
Drew: I knew the first time we went to the OC fair together. Even though I hate rollercoasters, I still wanted to go on one with her. Then it became a tradition for us to go on a date there every year after.
I did it at the orange county fair. It was the one tradition we always kept up. She knew i was going to propose, but she didn’t know when, where or how. I had no plan other than that I was going to do it in the photo booth. As per our tradition. We have a photo strip of every year we have been together. I waited until the first photo was taken then i got down on one knee and did the deal.
Chelsea picked out her ring its from a company based out of Utah named Staghead Design. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it because it was so elegent and simple yet timeless. I wanted something that also looked a little vintage.
We were most excited about the food we always hear about people who hate the traditional chicken or steak so we are having fun with Mexican food like tacos and spanish rice… stuff that we love to eat!
