We met in a music class in college, I thought he was cute so I texted him to see if he wanted to meet up and play music together. We’ve been rocking out ever since! We can both be hot heads at times but we bring a sense of calmness to each other. We also push each other to new limits, whether its reaching new work goals, doing something a little crazy, or eating the biggest burrito. We also love down time together where we take walks in historic parks or just simply have movie marathons.

From the Photographer

I wanted to capture the whimsical nature of this couple so I thought summer and bubbles would do the trick. We shot at Fort Washington State Park in Fort Washington, PA.

Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?

We met in a music class in college, I thought he was cute so I texted him to see if he wanted to meet up and play music together. We’ve been rocking out ever since!

What makes your relationship special? Tell us some things that you both value in your time together. What makes your relationship unique?

We can both be hot heads at times but we bring a sense of calmness to each other. We also push each other to new limits, whether its reaching new work goals, doing something a little crazy, or eating the biggest burrito. We also love down time together where we take walks in historic parks or just simply have movie marathons

How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship?

I knew he was the one when we went camping in the beginning months of our relationship and talked for hours on the side of a mountain looking at the stars. It was the first time we really shared our souls with each other.

Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

It was a surprise but also not really a surprise. Several weeks before the big question he had asked my parents for permission to be married and they said yes. I knew it happened because I was there! But I didn’t know when he would propose. Several weeks of waiting and me getting hella antsy he finally popped the question while we were hanging out in his apartment before going to his mom’s house for mother’s day. When we got there I was greeted by both of our entire families who had thrown an engagement party for us. I was so surprised and happy because my family lives so far away.

We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!

THE RING. It has rose gold and diamond infinity loops on either side of the heirloom diamond that was passed down to him from his great grandmother.

Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?

Wedding planning has been so much fun!! We’re getting married in southern Maryland, where I’m from, at a barn and vineyard venue.
