What’s more romantic than a carousel?

We made some carousel engagement photos for this awesome couple. Flowers and decorations were inspired by the season: the final part of winter when trees are still bare or retain some dried leaves, but the first flowers start to appear. All the flowers and materials come from Italy and all arrangements were floral foam-free, since we want to promote a local and sustainable approach to flower design.

Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?

We were introduced by a mutual friend on an evening in Jesolo! After that, for a year, we didn’t see each other again until Marco came to play football here in San Stino and started courting me! After a while, I gave in and after the first date, we never left each other!

Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

Marco took me to a secret place, in an alley, where we found a nice set-up, but I never thought it was for me. At one point he stopped me, knelt down and asked me to marry him with a fabulous ring. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I immediately said yes. Obviously.

We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!

Well, the ring is absolutely UNIQUE and made in Italy. The name is Crown from In The Stone Jewels. It is a 2.23 carat of a Salt & Pepper diamond ring plus 0.24 carat of white diamonds on 18k rose gold.

Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?

Yes, we already have a date: May 22nd of this year. I know how I want the decor… everything green with some white flowers.
