Kathleen & Rob had been engaged for a while, but decided to elope at Christmas time and needed some formal images to announce their nuptials. With another family wedding upcoming on the east coast, they knew marrying in front of family and friend’s would be impossible to coordinate so close to her sister’s wedding, so they decided to elope in Victoria BC. We met up for their engagement and pre-wedding session at the beautiful Government House (a castle style building in Victoria), somewhere they spend a lot of time exploring with their dog. The light was dreamy and full of pastel hues as we explored the grounds, and the results were magical. Kathleen and Rob took some time to reflect on their upcoming elopement and we got an opportunity to give them a beautiful session in a place that means so much to them, overlooking the Olympic mountains in Washington State, across the strait.
