Sam & Anthony are just gorgeous together! And then they showed up with their pup, Mack… he stole the show! We started at Shooters on the Water, in the Cleveland Flats. Then hit up one of the iconic Cleveland signs, followed by the trendy town of Ohio City.
Anthony and I knew each other when we were kids through friends. My family was best friends with his best friends family. Being that young, we would have play dates with our friends at the Didonato Household, so he was always around. Years later, we both attended Kent State University. One night out, downtown at the bars, I spotted him from afar. I went up to him and asked if he remembered me as we hadn’t seen each other in years. He did. We got to chatting and next thing I knew we found out that my friend was dating his friend. Small world right?! We ended up going on a small trip with those friends. He actually threw a chicken wing off his fork at dinner on my white dress I was wearing the first night! By accident of course! Things just kicked off from there! 🙂
Anthony and I have been together for 5.5 years. Over these years, time has sure flown by! We have learned so much about each other. We are always pushing each other to be the best version of ourselves. We love to travel and explore new things! We have supported each other through career changes and personal interests… I would say we are both definitely risk takers. We are very similar with our goals and the things we want in life. In our free time we love to watch movies, take our dog Mack to the Metroparks and have cute little dates that involve trying new things!
I knew Anthony was my partner for life when I realized he was my best friend and I could not imagine my life without him. This came pretty quickly as we went through different phases of our relationship (living together etc). Life without him would be boring!
My proposal! Oh Boy! Honestly I did not see this coming at all! Anthony and I planned a trip to go to Key West, Florida in May. The first night we took a boat over to an island called Sunset Key surrounded by all ocean water. We had a fancy dinner and some drinks. We went down by the ocean to see the sunset and take some pictures. That is where it all happened. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was like a fairytale, just as I imagined how it would happen when I was a little girl. We had quite the crowd watching us and clapping afterwards, it was amazing!
My ring was designed and custom made by my Fiancé. It is a pear shaped diamond with one diamond surrounding halo and a twisted band! Let’s just say he did AMAZING on this one!!
YES!! I started planning the week we came home from Key West where he proposed! We have booked a lot of vendors so far and I love all of them! There is still so much to do, but wedding planning is is much fun!!
