After a heartening proposal on an Arizona backroad, surrounded by family and friends, Eric and Shea decided it was time to contact a photographer and get some photos where she could show off her new, gorgeous engagement ring! The six of us (Eric, Shea, myself, and their three pups) headed out to one of my favorite spots – a rural desert town about an hour outside of Vegas. As we got closer, it was amazing to see the surrounding clouds actually touching the ground; fog is rare thing in the Vegas area, and how perfect was it that their already-dreamy photo session would literally be in the clouds? We spent the morning wrangling in their three very large, but very sweet pups, then we left their fur-babies to hang out while I stole Shea and Eric away for a few more intimate engagement photos by the babbling brook.
We met online, on a social dating app. After some conversation, we found out that our families have actually known each other for years through a common hobby, sand drag racing.
We have the same goals and interests. Racing plays a huge part in our lives, but being able to be in the garage working on other projects, and just enjoying our time adventuring new places together.
When we were the absolute best friends, and we came to each other for everything. Things are just so easy, and they were easier together as a team.
We went on an off-road trip, it was all planned out ahead of time without any of my (Shea) knowledge. Eric had it all planned out with all of our friends and my dad. We stopped to take a break and acted like he wanted to take a photo with me in front of the beautiful mountain scenery… Then when we posed to take a photo, he got down on one knee and popped the question!
ITS PERFECT! Emerald cut center stone with smaller “chunky” diamonds falling down each side of the band.
Over the moon, EXCITED. We are getting married 07/11/2020 (hopefully is good luck) haha. In a lodge with all of our close friends and family. It’ll be perfect no matter what, as long as we are together with our loved ones.
