From the Photographer

Zach and Sherya had a beautiful Rittenhouse Square engagement in Philadelphia, PA. The couple, originally from Philly decided that City Hall and Rittenhouse Square would be the best locations for an epic engagement shoot. The couple first contacted us from Yelp and decided we would be a great fit for their engagement shoot vision. The couple came up with a dressy outfit followed by a more casual look that complimented the fall colors of Rittenhouse Square. Very fashion-forward, Sherya wore a shimmering rose-gold dress with thousands of sequins while Zach wore a snazzy blue/black checkered blazer and dark blue dress pants. Zach and Sherya will marry in 2020. We can’t wait for their special day!

Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?

We were partnered together in anatomy lab during our first course of medical school.

What makes your relationship special? Tell us some things that you both value in your time together. (example: pushing each other to new limits, love to travel, huge comic book fans, foodies, etc.) What makes your relationship unique?

We are both hard working and understand and appreciate the sacrifices we have made to be successful. We are each other’s biggest advocate.

How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship?

We had an incredible level of comfort around each other early on.

Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

The proposal happened at the end of a hike on Howth, a peninsular town just outside of Dublin, Ireland.

Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?

Yes, we are going to get married in Pittsburgh, PA overlooking the downtown skyline.
