These two love birds met in 2014 but didn’t start dating until 2017. In those 3 years of dating other people, they knew they had something special ahead of them from the start. It’s always wonderful finding that one person happy to eat McDonald’s french fries at 1am with you!

Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?

Logan and I first met in December of 2014 at a birthday party for his sister. However, we didn’t go on our first date until December of 2017.

What makes your relationship special? Tell us some things that you both value in your time together.

We are lovers of new things. We push each other to try new experiences, like white water rafting and skydiving. We are always exploring new cities and National Parks. We have created a bucket list of things we both want to do together… like seeing all of the waterfalls in Oregon and visiting every National Park in the US.

How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship?

When we went on our first date, there wasn’t an ounce of awkwardness. It was almost as if we had been friends for years and could already be our goofy-selves with each other. The date consisted of wookiee noises, singing (horribly) to the radio and eating McDonald’s french fries. Less than a month into our relationship, we both realized that we were perfect for each other and there was no one else we’d rather eat french fries with at 1 am.

Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?

We were in Ohio for a wedding and decided to go on a hike where Logan proposed. We were hiking through the caves and woods of Hocking Hills State Park when we went off trail to find a neat rock formation and stopped to take a picture. Logan set up the GoPro to take a picture every two seconds, so it took pictures of the entire proposal. I was guessing it was coming, because we had been talking about for such a long time, but I still cried my eyes out.

We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!

Logan wanted to make sure that I would love the ring and it would be something that I would adore for the rest of my life, so he asked me to design my dream ring to give him an idea of what I would like. The ring itself is rose gold, with diamonds paving the sides all the way to a center oval diamond.

Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?

I am so excited to plan our wedding! It will be a small ceremony in Florida with just our friends and family. We already have a venue booked for the end of May 2019! We are so excited and cannot wait until everything falls into place.
