Katherine Tash Bridal | Sophisticated, Elegant and Modern

Katherine Tash Bridal

Sophisticated, elegant and modern, with a twist, is the embodiment of Katherine Tash’s newly launched Katherine Tash Bridal label. The new line launched simultaneously this summer with the opening of her flagship boutique in the trendy neighborhood of West Hollywood, California!

Not wanting to fall in line with the typical “sugar and spice and everything nice” offerings seen on the bridal market, Katherine’s introductory collection brings forth a bridal collection that hints of inspirations from her favorite iconic designers; Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli and the late Alexander McQueen. Fusing together her visions and artistic creation, she appeals to the modern woman who has that slight edge but still wants to exude romance and femininity.

Dramatic, eye-catching and alluring are just a few drop phrases that come to mind at first glance. Framed against classic and graceful silhouettes, this collection is unmistakably chic with an exclusive range of gorgeous wedding gowns in an array of styles. Brides-to-be will find draped, deep-V and button-up backs; daring plunges to high and modest Victorian collars; peplum and dropped waists; bell and capped sleeves; shoulder bearing as well as strapped bodices. All accentuated with crisp French and Italian lace, floral detailing, tulle and mini to mid-length trains that gently dust the floor.

To coincide with the collections name, “Botanics”, each gown is florally christened with names such as Dahlia, Viola, Aster, Camellia and Posey to name a few and are some of the front runners out of the gate. “Botanics” was inspired by the illustrious botanical gardens the young designer has visited around the world.  Her collection… polished, unadulterated and unforgiving femininity at it’s best. What more can you ask for on your wedding day!

Katherine Tash Bio

For bridal designer, KATHERINE TASH, theatre was the path that led her to what is now her passion. Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, the Bellarmine Prep alum grew up in a suburban home where her parents instilled in her independence, a strong work ethic and the drive to pursue her dreams. Doing just that, Katherine moved to Los Angeles in 2007 at 18 years old to attend Loyola Marymount University.  As a theatre major she found herself at home with the costumes department which is what exposed her to the world of fashion and design, where she found her true passion. Redirecting her career path, she enrolled at FIDM and went on to work for the likes of Halston, BeBe and Laundry. During the course of her career and having discovered a love for beading, embroidery and trim, her design focus soon turned towards bridal.

After years of working in the fashion industry for other brands, Katherine decided to take the risk and launch her namesake bridal label, “Katherine Tash Bridal”. Using the past 6 years of experience and personal savings, and with no financial backers, investors, or business partners, she finally opened up her first (by appointment only) flagship boutique in the trendy neighborhood of West Hollywood, California (8627 Melrose Ave., W. Hollywood, Ca. 90069). The rest you can say is history.
