We all know it is an overwhelming task to explain the phenomenon of love. It is so intangible, but unique in each taken story. For somebody, it’s the explosion of bright emotions, for others, it is transparency, lightness and an all-embracing tenderness. The latter association seem to be the case of Anna and Mark’s love story. At least their enigmatic photo session makes me think so. The magic tandem of unbridled tenderness and noble restraint as no other background is as poignant in the magnificent Venice views.

Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette?

When you say the name “Venice” your heart is immediately filling with romance. The same emotions I feel when thinking about Ann, and my wife says the same – this place is indeed our place. We chose it intuitively long before we start to plan our wedding. It was just a dream to go out from the daily routine to the oasis of happiness, where we could be together without unnecessary fuss. We’ve got such opportunity only on our wedding day. Moreover, it was the first variant of place for outdoors wedding ceremony our event design agency A TRENDY WEDDING proposed to us. Nothing happens accidentally.

Let’s talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception?

The Venice authentic architecture was our primary wedding decoration, the rest we just try to adjust to the atmosphere of place. The fineness and ordinariness, eternity and fleetingness, sublimity and everydayness – everything interview here creating a single composition, special atmosphere guiding our choice of wedding décor.

What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers in any of your design elements like the bridal bouquets, centerpieces or ceremony backdrop? Did they play an important part in the overall style of your wedding?

Oh! Have you ever seen a single bride without the wedding bouquet? I haven’t. My Ann loves the flowers and yes floral design was the primary wedding item. Bride’s bouquet was the central element. Ann wanted it looked like a bunch of just torn wildflowers during the whole wedding day. It was the overwhelming task for PHILIPPA TARRANT FLOWERS. Besides, flowers should correspond to all the wedding colors – the color of the seat in the gondola, color of linen. LA TAVO LALINENS offered us such variety of hues and texture; we would not be able to choose without our florist. Oh, I’ve forgotten about the flowers on the tables! They also were in the tones of Anne’s bouquet!

Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?

Certainly, it was a gondola experience. It was so romantic, and, I should, say a little extreme experience. We were in a little step to lose our photographer in Venice’s channel: ERIC KELLEY does not afraid of danger if he has the chance to make an excellent shoot. We should admit he has good and nimble assistant ÉLAN KLEIN. It was a piece of humor, a little diluting our “meadow” wedding aura. Indeed, when we occurred to be far from the shores – just we, Venice’s architecture, silent gondolier and light gondola’s wavering from side to side – I cannot describe you the level of our emotional escalation. It is just magic, no other way.

Let’s talk fashion. How did you both choose your wedding day look? Describe the looks in detail.

To tell the truth, all fashion details were in Anna’s competence. She had the conception of uniting the vintage with modernity where everything should play together to reach the desired effect: the dress from an atmospheric collection of tender color, open shoes for creating the effect of lightness, accessories, and make-up (invisible make-up!!!) Anne said it should be natural. It explained nothing to me on the planning stage, but the visual effect was charming. I know Anna was sure about the choice of dress from MY WONY ; it inspires her and we have no doubts on this vendor. The same I can say about LETIZIA CORDELLA MAKE UP: Anna was familiar with them earlier, so she had chosen it again. Shoes were the only option we were choosing long enough before finally noticed what we need in EMMY SHOES. To tell about my look I can in a single sentence: I just knew I wanted to have tuxedo from BLANK LABEL and showed Ann a few variants – she decided.

How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.

We were friends for a lasting period; indeed, it was a long way to our common future and adopting a decision about uniting our lives. It appeared we both worried about revealing our true feeling but when we found out that our aspirations coincided – this was the point! The emotional and explosive point, I should say! We started to look for engagement rings and plan the wedding. Interesting thing: we were choosing the rings almost as long as moving towards the moment of unveiling our feelings. Maybe we unconsciously wanted they were the reflection of our special emotions, not those suitable for everyone. We found our rings in GS Diamonds where we noticed few variants “breathing” with the lightness and tenderness – actually, what we needed.

What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?

Without any saying, it was the preparation moment. Such a wide scale of emotions I’ve had never before: scare, pleasant excitement, happy expectations, inspiration, worrying. They were changed in a minute…. But when we start our photo traveling by Venice’s street all they were replaced with calm and tenderness!

Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?

I would like to give single advice – run away from the others, devote this day to yourself and your love. Believe us, it is better to look at photos and remember the feelings than look at beautiful happy pictured faced but recall the memories about incredible wedding fuss where are no a single minute for true emotions.
