From the Event Planner

In a gourmet farm garden setting, Dana and Paul gathered their closest family and friends to witness their wedding vows and then celebrate the night away with them. With half of their guests flying in from France and many of their guests navigating the historic Washington State Ferry system, everyone’s travels led them to Farm Kitchen on Bainbridge Island. All of the couple’s planning was intended to celebrate their love of the outdoors, travel and family. Surrounded by the Farm’s Lavender fields, the couple selected to use a local flower farm to create their summer toned wildflower centerpieces and bouquets. And, at the end of the night, the centerpieces were wrapped farmer’s market style and set out in tabletop wooden crates with instructions for guests to take a bouquet home with them. As another thoughtful element and a gift to his bride, the groom built their ceremony chuppah. The piece was draped in vintage lace and adorned with local flowers. Guests dined on French and Pacific Northwest cheeses, charcuterie platters and beautifully prepared northwest salmon. Cheers were said over lots of bubbles and locally sourced wines!
