Beautiful Winery Wedding in Southern California.
Our wedding was a fairytale come true in the beautiful greens of Galway Downs, Temecula. We chose the colors dusty blue and burgundy as our main mixed with ivory and greenery. I (the bride) am a huge Disney fanatic so I entered the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage which was absolutely amazing. During our ceremony we watered a ceremonial tree while my mother sang in the background; it was truly a heart filled moment.
Wedgewood weddings did a wonderful job decorating our ceremony and reception area. We utilized our floral to add a color pop to the arch, tables, and welcome sign. Some decor was DIY such as the welcome table and card collector. We showcased a couple pictures of ourselves growing as a couple and the proposal.
Our floral company was absolutely amazing. We utilized the color palette dusty blue, burgundy, ivory, and greenery. Our bridal bouquets, arch, and reception tables were beautifully decorated with floral. They definitely added so much beauty on our special day we are extremely blessed to have found such a great company.
Some favorite parts of the wedding were the horse drawn carriage, seeing all our family and friends in one space, the ceremonial tree watering while my mother sang in the background, and the reception first dance. The entire day was completely magical and my husband and I are extremely blessed for such amazing family and friends.
Pinterest Pinterest Pinterest! This site inspired me to choose my bridal look and add touches to the wedding decorations. I found amazing looks for my hair/makeup and photography ideas for the wedding party/couple.
My husband and I met at a college called Pacific Union College located in Angwin, CA. It is a small adventist institution on the top of the hill that is filled with an amazing community. We participated in a band together and traveled to various places in Nor Cal to play music. In addition to the band, we were also in Organic Chemistry together and got to know each other more during our study dates. Our proposal happened in Oahu, HI on Turtle Beach. We were on a family trip during Christmas break. He pulled me aside and as we walked on the beach he fell on one knee and popped the question; I was completely surprised and of course cried like a baby.
Seeing my husband at the end of the aisle for the first time and crying like a baby! Also it was such a special moment riding the carriage after we were pronounced as husband and wife. Time just stopped and everything was just perfect.
Appreciate each second on your big day because the day goes by FAST. Also try and greet as many guests as possible because it’s quite awesome that they traveled near and far to witness your special day. And most of all, ENJOY! It will definitely be one of the best days in your life.
