A Picturesque Casa Chorro Wedding in Mexico

I absolutely love a destination wedding! There is nothing like getting out of the every day and jet setting to a new location to shoot a romantic love story. I had the privilege of getting to be a part of this Casa Chorro wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Jaquelin and Ariet wanted a destination wedding so their guests could have a mini-vacation as well. I also got to shoot their engagement photos, so it was so much fun being a part of their big day!

A Small, Intimate Wedding Celebration

Because of COVID, their guest list went from 135 to 35 people with a live steam for the guests who were unable to make it. It was such a close-knit and intimate Casa Chorro wedding with smiles and tears all around. The couple said they really loved the small number of people because it meant they got to spend time with everyone. And it was a PARTY! These people knew how to celebrate and have fun.

Such a Stunning Couple to Capture

Jacquelin and Ariet were basically supermodels. They made my job so easy with Jacquelin’s bright smile and Ariet’s model face. Not only that but the wedding location was unbelievable! Jacquelin had always been in love with the book The Secret Garden. The whole town reminded her of that book, so a Casa Chorro wedding in a villa surrounded by greenery was a perfect choice! The bridesmaid’s dresses were intentionally chosen to match the sunset colors of the town and Jacquelin’s Carolina Herrera dress and floor-length veil was breathtaking.

A Mini Rave at This Casa Chorro Wedding

One of the best parts of this Casa Chorro wedding was the dance at the end! Jacquelin and Ariet love EDM music and their wedding planners surprised them with fun glow-in-the-dark glasses and headbands. This couple showed up on the dance floor with their friends and family. It felt like their own mini rave! It was so amazing to watch this beautiful couple be surrounded by people who had so much love for them. This Casa Chorro wedding was such a memorable one and I wish them all the best in their life together.
