Samantha and Don were married on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Concordville Inn in front of dozens of family and friends. Samantha and Don started their day with bridal preparations at the Concordville Inn followed by their first look at the luscious greenery of Newlin Grist Mill. Samantha had gorgeous matching robes for her bridesmaids and custom printed hangers for the bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses.

Samantha also had custom made wine glass out of which the bridesmaids drank Veuve Clicquot. The couple shared some intimate couples portraits at the park and then came back to the Concordville Inn for the ceremony. One special feature of the ceremony was that the bride’s father walked Samantha down half the aisle and then her stepfather, who raised her came and met her halfway down the aisle. Then arm in arm, both fathers walked their baby girl down the aisle. It was a touching moment, and there was no hostility between them.

The reception was beautifully decorated with gold colored chairs and white lantern centerpieces with tea lights inside. The venue featured pin lighting to light all the centerpieces and the dance floor had a lovely circular chandelier we used for some couples portraits. The party really got underway when East Coast Productions started lighting up the dance floor. The couple shared a romantic first dance to Clint Black- Like The Rain. There was not a dry eye in the house.

Midway through the reception, the venue put out some wonderful desserts including chocolate mousse, macaroons, chocolate covered strawberries, and other delicious treats. After the bouquet toss, the couple shared a food fight style cake cutting and both Samantha and Don ended up with a face full of cake. We wish this couple the best as they make their way to Saint Lucia for their honeymoon.

What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers in any of your design elements like the bridal bouquets, centerpieces or ceremony backdrop? Did they play an important part in the overall style of your wedding?

I love baby’s breath flowers!
