Rosewood Manor was the perfect backdrop to this elegant and romantic wedding inspiration shoot. This Southern-styled venue had breezy porches, columns, and an outdoor pergola perfect for weddings, with the soothing murmur of the nearby creek that runs through the property.
The pink and blue flowers blended so beautifully with the sage greenery on the elaborate tablescape. The gorgeous flower arch was covered in florals and coordinated perfectly with the pink love seat. The pink and cream macarons were dusted with gold sprinkles while the wedding cake was covered in swirls of pink and navy flowers. The pink lemonade with gold paper straws provided some ice cold refreshment.
Savannah and Lafe met in high school 10 years ago. Recently on a trip to New York City, Lafe proposed by asking Savannah to FaceTime her daughter, who held up a sign that said “Will You Marry Lafe?” After many tears and a big “yes,” they are excited to start their new future together as a family of three. It melts Savannah’s heart to watch Lafe love her baby girl, and for her to call him “Dad.” She said, “I’ve never met someone this great who makes me smile, laugh, and so overwhelmingly happy. I’m so excited to marry my best friend, my soul mate, the love of my life, and a man to take on the role of a daddy is the most amazing feeling a mom who was doing it alone for four years can feel. I love him more and more everyday watching him being a dad he didn’t have to be. By taking care of all of us. So head over heels.”
