We were in heaven creating this romantic elegant blush shoot at the elegant Blithewold Mansion Gardens & Arboretum. We drew inspiration from the estate gardens and classic elegance of the mansion. We chose a palette of blush pink, taupe, pale ivory and hints of green and gold with romantic accents to complement the historic setting.

A juxtaposition of delicate pieces like the handcrafted jewelry and brass candlesticks with bold textural elements like the tiered Marchesa gown, layered linens, and sculptural flower arrangements played off the light and airy feel of the portico nestled in the heart of the mansion. An abundance of pattern and texture leant interest to the soft muted tones throughout. We wanted to make a nod to the history of the house as a summer home where a family would escape for the summer for a mix of rest and relaxation, alongside decadent parties and lavish meals.
