From the Event Planner

The inspiration for this shoot was drawn from the natural elements that embody a timeless classic wedding. A neutral color palette accompanied by gold accents and touches of soft blue created a simple yet elegant vibe. It was important to showcase that classic does not have to mean dull or boring! With this in mind, an amazing group of creatives teamed up to incorporate some of the most charming and sophisticated details that are sure to stand the test of time. Each detail of the day was beautifully captured by Matlock and Kelly Photography and cinematographer Angel Guzman of Love and Covenant

When considering location, the natural beauty of the Palmetto Club at Fishhawk Ranch made the perfect backdrop for our classic concept. Between the picturesque courtyard and surrounding gardens, this property provided endless options for an outdoor celebration. Towering trees and serene fountains only enhanced the romantic feel of the venue.

The eye-catching stationery designed by Emery Ann Design featured a Victorian inspired monogram and classic script font. The invitation suite was enclosed in a vellum wrap, blue silk ribbon, and gold wax seal which tied into the overall color scheme.

We paid homage to tradition by styling the groom in a classic black tuxedo while the bride’s stunning Martina Liana gown took it up a notch. The sheer bodice and lace detailing on this dress gave us the extra dose of glamour we didn’t know we needed. (And yes, it even had pockets!).

For the table styling, we layered a mix of white textured linens and blue velvet runners from Nuage Designs. The beautiful combination of colors and textures instantly elevated the tablescape and set the tone for the rest of the décor. Matching velvet napkins were beautifully wrapped around gold rimmed place settings by Treasury Rentals. The classic chargers and plates were complemented by matching gold flatware and clear pressed glassware. Each place setting was topped with a vellum menu featuring the same monogrammed crest from the invitation suite. The floral arrangements by Petals Presents and Parties spanned the length of the table and were filled with rich greenery and delicate white blooms. Each arrangement was separated by clusters of white taper candles which presented an inviting feel to the table. For seating we used Studio Festive’s Phoenix chairs which were a match made in heaven.

The four-tier cake was hand painted by The Artistic Whisk with touches of gold leaf and adorned with delicate sugar and wafer flowers. The topper was made with sugar and had the bride and groom’s custom monogram embedded into it. Since no celebration is complete without a champagne toast, the bride and groom clinked their glasses which were also topped with monogrammed wafer papers. These darling drink toppers made by Sweets and Stuff Napa are totally edible and make a great addition to any cocktail hour!

Nothing says classic like a vintage getaway car and this 1961 Rolls Royce is no exception. Luxor of Tampa pulled out all the stops and helped create the most perfect grand exit for our bride and groom!
