As a wedding photographer, putting together this Boho wedding inspiration shoot at Red Rocks Park and The Trading Post was quite an adventure! There was tons of excitement and plenty of anxiety to go along with it; after all, we pulled this thing together in just a few short weeks! (successfully, I might add, thanks to the coordinating genius of Melinda Mavers from The Ivory Swan). She did a great job getting everything in order so we were ready to go to work as soon as we touched down in Colorado.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering… it was worth every bit of stress! It turned out UNBELIEVABLE and I couldn’t be more happy with the way Melinda styled this super edgy Boho inspiration shoot! As if that wasn’t enough, when we showed up the morning of, the weather was simply perfect; so much so that we decided to have our models get ready outside in the cool crisp Colorado air; it was the perfect start to a perfect day! I am so appreciative to all the wedding professionals that contributed to the success of this shoot!

It’s no secret that Red Rocks Park and The Trading Post in Colorado are highly sought after venues by wedding photographers for weddings and inspiration shoots. This is the reason why we really wanted to do our inspiration shoot here. Needless to say, this location didn’t disappoint in the least. The vivid colors and rich tones afforded by this place made it worth every penny. It’s been a dream of mine to do a boho inspiration shoot here and now it’s in the books!

I think the craziest thing about this day was that this was only one of two shoots that we decided to do in Colorado… in the same day! I can’t wait to show you our second inspiration shoot that we did at Piney River Ranch in Vail! But, that’s for another day… for now, it’s time to feast your eyes on this enrapturing Boho inspiration shoot at Red Rocks Park and The Trading Post… enjoy!
