This shoot brought together an incredible amount of wedding talent under one roof. Not just any roof- the infamous House of Blues Cleveland. A Cleveland landmark reaching back into the early 1900’s, this site is rich with history. The lot had a range of uses through the early 20’s including the home of 7 different prominent banks in Cleveland. The original building was raised and rebuilt into a grand 3 story building with the new splendor of the art moderne theme. The design celebrates rich and intricate details designed by an architect firm that included President Garfield’s son Abram.

Notable features include hand painted wall murals, rich detailed wood carvings and expansive spaces to accommodate the most elaborate event. Our creative director and stylist Teri Woodruff, owner of Creative Transformations, brought a rich and dramatic color scheme and design into play while paying homage to the rock and roll capital of the world. Guitars, amps and metal accents bring in a sophisticated play on a rock themed styled shoot. Table Settings with mixed metals and colorful touches from Event Source grace the stunning dark linens from L’nique Linens to complete the look for a luscious and romantic feel. Who wouldn’t want a seat at this cozy and one of a kind table? Floral designs from The Red Twig are out of this world, including custom headpieces and floral tattoos. Edgy, yet glamorous greenery soften the rich and dark corners of this historic building.

Elegant, yet fierce garments looked amazing on the models as they showcased the many beautiful areas of the venue, from the deep and dark main entertaining areas fit for a king to the amazing backstage area where we were able to catch a glimpse of rock royalty’s signatures along the walls. An amazing wedding gown, provided by Something White Bridal, set the stage for drama and glamour, while additional dark and moody dresses and groom’s attire were from Nordstrom. Hair and makeup by Bella Bronze/ Sarah Steele completed the look and hand crafted stationery by the Pink Tomato Creative set the stage for a beautiful table spread complete with table settings and an invitation that is both graceful and a bit edgy. A gorgeous cake from Luna Bakery playfully contrasted dark colors with metallic touches to create a work of art ready for rock royalty.
