In honor of Halloween, we thought it would be cool to include a photo shoot where the love a couple has for one another, even after death, is featured in all its glory. Happy Halloween everyone!

From the Photographer… Sarah and I have been working together for over a year now for different boudoir shoots. She is an incredible artist and works absolute magic. Lisa and I did a boudoir shoot with Sarah doing HMU and the three of us instantly became friends – Lisa & Sarah are HUGE Halloween fans. So, we immediately started planning a styled shoot after wrapping up her goth inspired boudoir shoot.

The idea behind the couple shoot is for the makeup to be inspired by the Day of the Dead. Sarah wanted Brian to be as skeleton like as possible while Lisa would have more of a glam, feminine flare. We all met at Sarah’s house at 4am for 3 hours of makeup before shooting in the morning fog. The emotion captured in the photos is evidence that even after death, there is a deep lingering desire to be close. To touch. It’s why we are buried side by side. Even death cannot stop his need to be near her, there is almost a possessive gleam in his eyes as he haunts her, chasing after their lost passion.
