The Romantic Whimsy of the THEIA Bride

I have had the distinct pleasure of seeing THEIA in person and they never disappoint!

For Fall 2018 the THEIA bride continues to evolve and the direction becomes decidedly sexier with silhouettes that embrace the curves of women of all shapes and sizes. Illusion bodices with strategic glass and crystal embroideries or lace placements adorn plunging neck lines and open backs. Satin is given a new twist in a sexy jumpsuit. The romantic whimsy of the THEIA bride is captured in 3-d floral appliques and embroideries, soft Chantilly lace bodices and Spanish tulle skirts while the shapes and silhouettes remain clean and simple. Color remains an important trend with cloud blues and blush pinks appearing throughout the collection. Sexy, elegant and modern THEIA Fall 2018.

To see THEIA gowns in person, you can visit The Bridal Finery in Winter Park, Fl. It is one of the best bridal boutiques in the country. And the ladies that own it, Roberta and Tali, they’re pretty great too! Watch for more bridal insight from these ladies on the Tacari site soon!

THEIA, an evening wear, bridal and bridesmaids collection inspired by the Greek Goddess of light expands bridal offerings with a capsule collection of plus size bridal gowns available in sizes 20-24 to be sold exclusively for one year at Lovely Bride. The plus size capsule collection will feature six of THEIA’s best-selling designs in a range of styles, fabrications and silhouettes. Options will include a fitted crepe mermaid gown, with a cowl back, several signature beaded designs, a traditional long sleeve corded lace gown, an ethereal full skirted tulle ball gown and a sleek sleeveless satin and crepe gown. The collection will hit Lovely Bride stores in January 2018 and will retail between $2,000 – $2,495. Standard production lead time will be twelve weeks. “Inclusiveness is really important to us here at THEIA, and I am very excited to have this opportunity to partner with Lovely Bride on this new exciting initiative. I have long been a proponent of dressing women of all sizes, having created custom gowns for Oprah Winfrey and Gabourey Sidibe for the Oscars as well as creating red carpet gowns for gorgeous full figured stars such as Rebel Wilson, Ashley Graham and Danielle Brooks. Embracing all women, eager to see their inner goddess shine is the core of the THEIA brand philosophy so it was a natural progression to do so with a plus size bridal collection.” states Creative Director, Don O‟Neill
